Pakistan visa black market; A visa is sold for 900 to 1,500 dollars
Citizens of Afghanistan complain about Pakistan’s approach in issuing visas to that country. According to them, the Pakistani embassy in Afghanistan is now issuing visas for that country at a huge price in alignment with the commissioners.
According to a visa applicant, the process of distributing visas in this country is stopped as normal and Pakistan sells its visas through commission agents in the black market, between 900 and 1,500 dollars. At the same time, the need to have an invitation letter from that country has also created other businesses inside Pakistan. According to the sources, after announcing this decision, Pakistanis demand more than 10,000 kaldars from the applicants in exchange for sending each invitation. It should be mentioned that in recent days, in addition to visa applicants, travelers who go to Pakistan by land also complain about the ugly treatment of the Pakistani military and the indifference of the Taliban. With the fall of Kabul to the Taliban, although this group prevented Afghan citizens from leaving the country, most of the citizens, including former soldiers and human rights defenders, have sought refuge in other countries to save their lives. In recent days, Pakistani officials have announced that after the Taliban took control of Afghanistan, about 250 thousand Afghans have entered that country. Now, a number of citizens are complaining about Pakistan’s inappropriate treatment of visa applicants from that country. They say that the Pakistani embassy in Afghanistan has unofficially stopped the normal process of issuing visas and opened the way for commission workers to receive huge income. According to these citizens, if they fill the online form for Pakistan visa, they wait for two or three months to receive it. However, applicants say they have less chance of getting a visa through the normal process, as the country rejects more visa applications and, more recently, requires an invitation.
