The US has contributed 460 million dollars to the World Food Program in Afghanistan, says Thomas West

34 news; Thomas West, America’s special representative for Afghanistan, informed about the humanitarian aid of his country to the people of Afghanistan and says that America’s commitment to the people of Afghanistan is unwavering.

Mr. West wrote in a tweet today, Friday, November 18, that “food aid is needed in Afghanistan, and the United States has contributed 460 million dollars to the World Food Program in Afghanistan in 2022.”

He called the role of the World Food Programme important in delivering this aid and added that the United States is the main donor of the World Food Programme in Afghanistan.

At the same time, the European Union recently announced its 120 million euros aid for the people of Afghanistan.
