34 news; The Office of the United Nations Deputy Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) has expressed concern regarding the restrictions imposed on women’s use of parks, sports halls and bathrooms.
On Tuesday, November 15, UNAMA tweeted: “All rights of Afghans, especially women’s access to all forms of public life and girls’ right to education must be preserved.”
The UN emphasised that the rights of all Afghan citizens, especially women and girls, must be respected in this country.
Moreover, Amnesty International has also called for the cancellation of existing restrictions.
